CDM Building Shilanyas

N0v 30,2020. The Vice chancellor of Tribhuvan University Prof. Dr. Dharma Kant Bastoka inaugurated the construction of CDM Building by laying foundation stone (Shilanyas) in Kirtipur. Congratulating Central Department of Management, Vice Chancellor shown his commitment for supporting constructive ideas and programs of departments. Prof. Baskota also emphasized on the importance of Physical Infrastructure in the process of teaching learning at the University. Special guest of the ceremony Prof. Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma, Dean at Faculty of Management, appreciated the initiation of department for constructing modern academic building and wished timely completion of building construction.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Bal Krishna Shrestha, recently retired professor at CDM, expressed his happiness by saying that his dream of seeing CDM in its new building with modern facilities has come true. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ramji Gautam, head of the central department of management and graced by Rector, Registrar, Assistant Deans, Directors of various research centers, Head of many other Central Departments, professors, officials and staffs of Tribhuvan University. The responsibility of construction has been assigned to Sharma and Company Pvt. Ltd. and estimated time to accomplish this project is 30 months. Prof. Gautam thanked all distinguished guests and supporters, and highlighted the features of Construction Project with its budget in brief. He is quite optimistic on completing the project on time and receiving further funding support from sponsors.
